Teen Shot On West Side, Three Questioned By Police
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are questioning three persons of interest in connection with the shooting of a teen boy Sunday night in the North Lawndale neighborhood.
The 15-year-old boy was standing outside in the 1500 block of South Kedvale Avenue about 9:40 p.m. when two people drove up, got out of a vehicle and opened fire before getting back into the vehicle and fleeing the scene, police said.
The boy was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai with a graze wound to the back, where he was expected to be treated and released, police said.
No charges have been filed as of early Monday. Area Central detectives are investigating.
