Teen Shot Near Clybourn Red Line Station
CHICAGO (STMW) - An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg on the Near North Side Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting happened about 3:20 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Clybourn Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
The victim was shot in the left leg, Zala said. His condition and the hospital he was taken to were not immediately available.
The shooter was said to be a male in a red shirt who fled the scene and was not in custody as of about 4:20 p.m., Zala said.
Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
