Teen Shot, Killed In Little Village
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 17-year-old man who was shot multiple times in the Little Village neighborhood Thursday died from his wounds Friday afternoon.
Javier Gonzalez, 17, of the 3100 block of South Komensky Avenue, was shot in the arm and head about 7:50 p.m. Thursday in the 3000 block of South Karlov Avenue, authorities said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead about 1:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated.
