Teen Shot In South Shore Drive-By
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A teenager was wounded in drive-by shooting Monday night in the South Shore neighborhood.
The boy, 17, was standing outside in the 7400 block of South Chappel Avenue about 10 p.m. when gunfire erupted from a dark-colored SUV before it took off westbound, police said.
He was shot in the wrist and was treated in good condition at Jackson Park Hospital, police said.
Area Central detectives are investigating. No one is in custody.
