Teen Shot Dead In Auburn-Gresham
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A teenage boy was found shot to death late Tuesday morning in front of an Auburn-Gresham neighborhood fire station.
The victim, who was in his late teens, was found inside a car in front of the fire station at 8120 S. Ashland Ave., police said.
Officers later learned the victim had been shot at 83rd Street and Hermitage Avenue, but ended up in front of the fire station a few blocks away.
A spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's confirmed the fatality Tuesday afternoon, but had no information on the victim as of 1 p.m.
