Teen Dead After Shooting On Far South Side
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A teen is dead after being shot in the Far South Side's Fernwood community early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened around 2:20 a.m. in the 0-99 block of West 104th Place, police said.
The 19-year-old victim was standing on the sidewalk when someone fired shots at him, police said.
The man was left with multiple gunshot wounds to his body, police said. He was pronounced dead at Roseland Community Hospital.
No one was in custody Sunday afternoon in connection with the shooting.
