Teen Critically Wounded In Craigin Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 17-year-old boy died early Monday, a day after he was shot in his home in the Northwest Side Craigin neighborhood.
Valentin Bahena, 17, of 2255 N. Lawler Ave. was shot at his home Sunday and pronounced dead at 12:18 a.m. Monday at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.
Police said the teen was awakened to noise outside his window about 3:40 a.m. Sunday. When he looked down to ask what two men were doing, one opened fire, striking him in the head.
Detectives are seeking two male offenders, but they weren't in custody Monday morning.
