CHICAGO (CBS)-- Big ideas are crossing the minds of Indiana planners who envision a suspension bridge providing new access to the Dunes National Lakeshore. WBBM Newsradio's Julie Mann reports.

It would be similar to the bridge that connects Omaha, Nebraska and Council Bluffs, Iowa—which cost $44 million dollars to construct.
According to the Northwest Indiana Times, Dillard's vision already has some critics.
The public works director for Portage says funding needed to build a suspension bridge might be better spent on current or long time projects already in the works.
