T-Shirt Makers Printing Up A Storm In Case Blackhawks Win Stanley Cup

CHICAGO (CBS) -- If the Blackhawks beat the Bruins Monday night to win the Stanley Cup, merchandisers will be Johnny-on-the-spot with championship wear for sale.

WBBM Newsradio's Bernie Tafoya reports some major sporting goods stores plan to open right after the game, should the Blackhawks win in Boston.

Printers Ready To Sell Blackhawks Championship T-Shirts

At Windy City Silkscreening in Bridgeport, chief operating officer Jim Szczesniak said he's planning to have tens of thousands of championship t-shirts ready when needed, but he's not saying what they look like.

"It's top secret. They're a very nice Stanley Cup design, but we can't show them until they actually win," he said.

Newsradio spotted some being made, and boxes being loaded for delivery.

"The second they win, we'll be printing like crazy," he said.

He predicted the Blackhawks would win Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, with goalie Corey Crawford the star.
