Suspects Sought In Red Line Robberies On South Side
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police are searching for two young men who have robbed Red Line train commuters at gunpoint on the South Side.
The men -- believed to be between the ages of 15 and 19 -- have robbed people this month in the area of 69th Street from State Street to Michigan Avenue, according a community alert from Area Central detectives.
Police said the men target people walking to and from the 69th Red Line station.
One of the men is described as a black man with medium to dark complexion who stands 5-foot-8 to 6-foot-2 tall, weights between 140 and 180 pounds and styles his hair in dreadlocks.
The other man is described as a black man with light to medium complexion who stands 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11 tall, weighs 140 to 160 pounds and has short hair.
