Suspects Sought In Chicago Lawn Robberies
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are searching for at least two suspects who are attacking and robbing people in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The suspects approach the victims from behind, strike them with blunt objects and steal property, according to a community alert from Area Central detectives.
The robberies happened in the 6600 block of South Kedzie Avenue on July 21 about 11 p.m. and in the 6700 block of South Kedzie Avenue on Aug. 2 about 6 a.m., the alert said.
Police described the suspects as two or three black males, 19-25 years old who are about 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds.
