CHICAGO (CBS) -- There has been another police-involved shooting, this time on the South Side.
It's about the sixth one in three weeks, according to police union spokesman Pat Camden.
A 21-year-old man was wounded near 75th Street and Michigan Avenue after he pointed a weapon at officers around 1:40 a.m.

Camden said four officers in a gang suppression unit had spotted a van moving along the street with the door open, a possible prelude to a drive-by shooting.
When officers tried to stop the van, the man got out and ran.
Two of the four officers pursued the suspect on foot and the man pointed his gun at the officers, Camden said. One of the officers then opened fire.
The suspect was shot twice in the arm.
Police say they recovered a 9mm weapon with a 30-round clip.
The van got away.
