Suspect Sought In Attempted Sexual Assaults In Chicago Lawn
(STMW) -- Police are searching for a man who entered two homes and tried to sexually assault sleeping women early Sunday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The man got into the homes through windows about 3:30 a.m. in the 6800 block of South Washtenaw Avenue and about 4 a.m. in the 7000 block of South Talman Avenue, according to a community alert issued by Area Central detectives.
Police advise residents to close and lock doors and windows at night, and to never pursue a fleeing assailant.
