Surging Blackhawks Still Looking For 'Another Level'
The Chicago Blackhawks have won four consecutive games dating back to their nationally televised shoot out win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
They've also secured 16 of the last 24 available points in the month of February.
"I think we're a lot happier with the way we've been playing," Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith said. "We still think there's more there and another level we can get to."
If the Blackhawks are looking for a time to play at that next level, then this week might be a pretty good time to do that. The next four Blackhawks' games are against teams vying for playoff spots: Minnesota Wild (2/28), Calgary Flames (3/2), Carolina Hurricanes (3/4) and Toronto Maple Leafs (3/5).
The Blackhawks sit in 9th, but are part of the 4-team logjam with 72 point that stretches from the 7th place Wild to the 10th place Nashville Predators.
