Super Bowl Ticket Prices Nearly Double From Last Year
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- It has never been cheap to attend a Super Bowl, but one ticket website is reporting the average price for a ticket to Sunday's game has nearly doubled from last year.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Mary Frances Bragiel reports, officials from FanSnap.com reportedly say the average price for a ticket to the Green Bay Packers-Pittsburgh Steelers game is $4,683 – nearly double the price from the last Super Bowl.

Wisconsin residents have purchased three times the number of tickets from the site.
On StubHub, prices start at $2,000 and go as high as $277,000.
Meantime, a poll taken by City's Best has 32 percent of Chicago residents saying they will watch the game at home with friends, 26 percent say they'll attend a house party, and 18 percent say during the game they will be arranging their closet.
