Suburban Students: Worn Uniform Swimsuits Are Much Too Revealing
OAK PARK, Ill. (CBS) -- Swim class is a rite of passage for many students, but at Oak Park-River Forest High School, the uniforms are something they'd rather pass on.
As WBBM Newsradio's Nancy Harty reports, as if wearing a swimsuit in front of one's high school classmates isn't nerve-wracking enough, students at Oak Park-River Forest tell the Chicago Tribune the suits wear thin and offer little coverage.

One student – Haleigh Callahan, 15 – told the Tribune the faded fabric of the swimsuits left it so "you can really see everything." Boys say they experience similar wear with their swim trunks, the newspaper reported.
The suits turn from navy blue to light tan from all the washing, students tell the Tribune.
Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville allows students to bring their own suits, as do the Chicago Public Schools. But neither allows bikinis, the Tribune reported.
Elgin High School allows two-piece swimsuits, but requires girls to wear T-shirts over them.
