Suburban Principal Fined For Driving 103 MPH
ST. CHARLES, Ill. (STMW) - A Geneva school principal who was clocked driving his Porsche Boxster at 103 miles an hour was fined $300 Tuesday after pleading guilty to speeding.
Lawrence Bidlack, 46, also was placed on three months of court supervision — a type of non-reporting probation — at a brief appearance in Kane County court.
Bidlack was ticketed by Campton Hills police on Oct. 16 for speeding more than 40 miles an hour over the posted 45-mile-per-hour limit in the far western suburb, where he lives.
The misdemeanor offense carried a maximum punishment of one year in jail or a $2,500 fine.
Bidlack declined to comment as he left the courthouse.
