Suburban Official's Son Accused In Village Building Break-In
DOLTON, Ill. (STMW) - The son of Dolton's village manager was charged Friday with breaking into and stealing from a public works building in the south suburb.
Sebastian J. Herzog, 28, is charged with one count each of burglary and theft, according to Cook County State's Attorney's office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton. Herzog is accused of stealing from the public works building in Dolton.
He is scheduled to appear for a bond hearing Saturday morning in Markham.
Herzog's father, Bert Herzog, is the Dolton village manager, a source said.
Sebastian Herzog was not employed by the city.
Dolton police would not provide further information Friday evening.
