Suburban Man Sentenced For Third Child Porn Conviction
WOODSTOCK, Ill. (STMW) - A northwest suburban man was sentenced to five years in prison Friday after his third conviction for possessing child pornography.
Michael Hartman, 34, of Marengo, was sentenced Friday to five years in prison for unlawful possession of child pornography, according to a McHenry County State's Attorney's office release.
Marengo police found the child pornography on Hartman's computer inside his residence, the release said.
It was the third arrest for possession of child pornography, the release said. The two prior offenses occurred in Kane County in 2004 and Hartman was previously sentenced to three years in prison for the second of those offenses.
