Students Create 'Washington Strong' Wristbands To Raise Funds For Tornado Victims
WASHINGTON, Ill. (CBS) -- A group of junior high students have created a set of "Washington Strong" wristbands, as part of an effort to support survivors of last month's tornado.
The students at Morton Junior High School have sold about 1,000 of the wristbands so far to raise money for victims of the Nov. 17 tornado in neighboring Washington.
They're selling the wristbands for $2 each, have ordered an additional 1,000 wristbands, and already have 300 more orders to fill.
The wristbands ship anywhere in the U.S. for $5.
