Storms Result In Hundreds Of Canceled Flights In Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) -- With a series of thunderstorms moving through the Chicago area on Wednesday, airlines have canceled hundreds of flights at O'Hare International Airport.
As of 3:30 p.m., more than 300 flights had been canceled at O'Hare due to the weather, according to the city's Aviation Department. Airlines also were reporting delays averaging an hour or more.
At Midway International Airport, only a few flights have been canceled as of 3:30 p.m., though airlines were reporting some delays of 30 minutes or more.
