Stone: White Sox Need To Start Beating AL Central Teams
(WSCR) The White Sox had gone 5-2 in their seven games before heading into their recent series in Minnesota, and there was some optimism beginning to take hold.
However, the White Sox lost two games to the pesky, and last place, Twins and things once again look like an up-hill climb for the South Siders.
"The worst part of what's going on recently is the fact that we don't win in the division to often," Steve Stone said on the Boers and Bernstein Show.
The White Sox are 6-11 against AL Central opponents this season, including an 0-4 record against Minnesota and a 1-5 record against Detroit.
"The only, seemingly, team that the White Sox can beat is the Indians," Stone said. "They beat them, but I assume that the Indians are going to start falling back even further, they've won [four] of their last 10 and they're coming back to being the Indians."

The White Sox are 5-5 over their last 10 games and could go on a run during interleague play, if last season's trend continues. The White Sox were 15-3 during interleague play in 2010 and are 3-2 so far this season.
The next 13 games for the White Sox are against National League opponents, including six against the Cubs, one against Arizona and three games against the Nationals and Rockies.
