Stone: Cubs Haven't Given Colvin A Chance To Prove Himself
Along with Starlin Castro, Geovany Soto and Carlos Marmol, Tyler Colvin is one of the promising young players on the Chicago Cubs' roster. But opposed to those other players, Colvin's future is less certain.
"I can't tell you that Tyler Colvin is going to be a great player," Steve Stone said on the Boers and Bernstein Show.

"But I will tell you they have never given him an extended chance to show how he's going to be. They had an ideal time to do it last year, they failed to do it. We don't know how good he's going to be, becuase we haven't seen him play over a two week period, everyday, in the lineup."
