Station Wagon Hits, Kills Deer On Kennedy Expressway
CHICAGO (STMW) - A car hit and killed a deer on the Kennedy Expressway on the Northwest Side early Thursday.
At 1:30 a.m., a white station wagon hit and killed a deer that landed on the shoulder of the inbound lanes of I-90 near Cumberland Avenue, according to Illinois State Police District Chicago Trooper Ramon Coss.
Traffic was not affected and no one was hurt, Coss said.
The deer was cleared from the roadway by IDOT, Coss said. No one was injured.
"It's unusual for that area but we do have them (deer) from time to time," Coss said.
