Man Killed, 3 Injured In Eisenhower Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A South Side man was killed when he drove a car into a wall on the Eisenhower Expressway early Sunday, State Police said.
The crash happened about 4 a.m. on the inbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) near Kedzie Avenue, Illinois State Police District Chicago Master Sgt. Jason LoCoco said.
The man, identified as Antwuan Alexander, 21, of 7324 S. Wolcott Ave., according to a spokesman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, drove a Chevrolet four-door car into the left wall, LoCoco said. Alexander was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, were he later died.
Three other adults riding in the car suffered "minor injuries" and were also taken to Mount Sinai, LoCoco said.
State Police are continuing to investigate.
