Stalberg Stalls Thrashers In Shootout For 5-4 Win
(WSCR) - It was a close game between the Blackhawks and Thrashers as four former Hawks took the ice to face their old team. A 4-4 score sent the teams into a scoreless over time, then a shootout. Viktor Stalberg scored the winning goal for the Blackhawks.

ATLANTA (AP) Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane both scored two goals and Viktor Stalberg added the winner in a shootout to help the Chicago Blackhawks snap a two-game slide with a 5-4 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers on Saturday night.
The Thrashers have lost two straight overall and four of five at home.
Atlanta defenseman Dustin Byfuglien, who faced Chicago for the first time since being traded by the defending Stanley Cup champions, was stopped on the Thrashers' last shootout attempt when Marty Turco reached out and poked the puck away with his stick.
Turco stopped 33 shots to win for the first time in three starts and improve to 7-4-1.
