Beekeepers Rush To South Loop After Swarm Of Bees Reported
CHICAGO (CBS)-- Beekeepers rushed to the South Loop Friday evening for a swarm of the stinging insects on a newspaper box.
Beekeepers were seen carefully scraping bees off the machine and putting them in a small hive.
The beekeepers believe the bees were searching for a new home, and once they got the queen in the hive, the rest followed.
A bystander saw the swarm and sent out a call for help on Facebook.
