Chris Paul Traded To Clippers
NEW ORLEANS (CBS) -- Chris Paul is headed to Los Angeles after an agreement in principle was reached Wednesday night on a trade sending him from New Orleans to the Clippers.
Commissioner David Stern approved the deal after nixing a deal that would have sent Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers last week.
The Hornets will get Eric Gordon, Al-Farouq Aminu, Minnesota's unprotected first-round pick in the 2012 draft and the expiring contract of center Chris Kaman for the All-Star point guard, a person involved in the talks said.
