Source: Ozzie, Marlins To Visit U.S. Cellular Field Next Season
By Adam Hoge-
U.S. CELLULAR FIELD (CBS) Former White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen and the Miami Marlins will make a visit to U.S. Cellular Field next season, according to a league source that has seen the 2013 MLB schedule.
The interleague series between the two teams will mark Guillen's first return to the Southside since the White Sox traded him to Miami with two games remaining in the 2011 season.
Under MLB's new interleague schedule that starts next year, each division will play all five teams from another division in the opposite league. The White Sox series with the Marlins means the A.L. Central will play the N.L. East next season. In other words, the White Sox will also play the New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves although the locations of those series are unclear.
Major League Baseball usually releases its schedule for the following year in September.
