Some Try To Fight Blizzard With Shovels
GLENVIEW, Ill. (WBBM) -- Not everyone is content to watch the snow pile up.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Bob Roberts reports, in Glenview, the wind is howling in a residential neighborhood just off the Edens Expressway.

Most people are periodically looking out the window and shuddering at what they see. But one man was battling it with a shovel.
"This is back-breaking, brutal weather; no fun," he said.
He conceded that maybe he should have bought a snow blower instead.
"Definitely," he said, "big mistake on my part. A little late, but I can always go back out."
No sooner does the man clear a sidewalk than blowing snow begins to cover it again. He says it's been years since he's seen a snowstorm of this magnitude.
