CHICAGO (CBS)  The heavier rain bands were winding down Sunday evening, but the area will still experience a few pockets of drizzle through Monday morning.

Fog will also create low visibility through Monday morning as well, so if you are traveling anywhere, make sure to use your low-beam headlights if you encounter the locally dense fog.

Temperatures tonight will drop into the lower 30s, so everyone will have to watch out for some slick secondary roads.

The drizzle and fog should diminish by 9 a.m. Monday, and clouds will slightly decrease during the afternoon as temperatures rise to the lower 40s.

The next weather system will arrive on Monday night, lasting through the daylight hours on Tuesday. This system will be primarily rain, but a little snow shower activity can't be ruled out—especially north of the city.

If you have any plans for Tuesday night, by the evening hours the weather will be drier as the disturbance departs Chicago.
