Lovie: 'I'm Dissatisfied With Our Entire Football Team'
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Bears coach Lovie Smith said Monday that he is "dissatisfied with our entire football team" after a devastating loss Sunday to the Green Bay Packers.
The Bears lost 27-17, as Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for 297 yards -- including three touchdown passes to Jermichael Finley. Meanwhile, the Bears' offense only had 13 rushing yards.

"I'm dissatisfied with our entire football team," Smith told WBBM Newsradio's Josh Liss. "We're not happy about anything that we did, and I know a lot is to be said about rushing. You get behind like that, you have to pass the ball more. We're interested in scores. How we do that, it's not really that important sometimes."
Smith said the Packers deserve credit for the quality and performance of their team, and the Bears should take responsibility for their failure. Still, he wasn't about to concede that the Packers "cracked" the Bears' defense.
"I don't know about 'crack.' They were able to move the football quite good," Smith said. "They're a good football team. You have to give them credit. They're the Super Bowl champs. Aaron Rodgers is a heck of a player. Finley's a great tight end. They made plays yesterday and we didn't."
But the season is young, and there is plenty of time left for the Bears to recover, Smith emphasized.
"You can't lose sight of the big picture. We're disappointed, believe me; we all did, as I said, but we'll finish up with the first quarter," he said. "We've got an opportunity to go 2-2. There's a lot of football left to be played. We'll make the necessary corrections."
