Small Plane Slides Off Runway At Midway
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A small twin engine plane slid off the runway at Midway Airport Monday afternoon.
The pilot is being evaluated and the Chicago Fire Department says he was just shook up. The pilot was the only one on board and there are no reports of any other injures.
According to the FAA, the landing gear of the Piper 31 appeared to collapse and they are investigating.
The plane is registered to Pinot Leasing in Zionsville, Ind.
