Small Bathroom Fire Prompts Shedd Aquarium Evacuation
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A small fire inside a bathroom prompted an evacuation of the Shedd Aquarium Saturday afternoon.
The Chicago Fire Department says the fire was extinguished with hand pumps and that there were no injuries. Investigators are on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
The Shedd Aquarium tweeted that it will be closed the rest of the day tickets and wristbands can be redeemed at a later date. Guests will be allowed back in to retrieve personal items.
