Six Shot At Maywood Party
MAYWOOD, Ill. (STMW) -- Six people were shot while attending a party at a home in west suburban Maywood Saturday night.
Police responded at 11:48 p.m. to a report of six people shot at gathering in a home in the 1900 block of South 19th Avenue, village spokesperson Larry Shapiro said.
A 25-year-old Maywood man was shot in the leg, back and shoulder; a 23-year-old Oak Park woman was shot in the lower right leg; a 20-year-old Addison woman was shot in both legs and a 21-year-old Broadview man was shot in the left knee.
All four victims were taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
Danny Garcia, 25, and his brother Roberto Garcia, 18, both of Broadview, were taken to Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park with a gunshot wound to the left knee and the right leg, respectively.
Further details about the shooting were not immediately available.
No one is in custody.
Maywood police are investigating.
