Six Hurt When Bus Hits Car In West Woodlawn
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Six people were hurt when a school bus carrying special needs adults collided with at least two other vehicles in the West Woodlawn neighborhood.
Six special needs adults and the driver were on board the bus when it collided with at least one car at the intersection of 67th Street and St. Lawrence Avenue, around 7:15 a.m.
The bus came to a stop against a parked SUV on St. Lawrence Avenue.
According to the Fire Department, five of the passengers on the bus were taken to hospitals in good condition. The driver of the car the bus hit also was taken to a hospital, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
