Five Hospitalized After Bad Reaction To Drugs In Bridgeport
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Five young adults were hospitalized Thursday night after experiencing an adverse reaction to "some sort of psychedelic drug," police said.
Multiple ambulances were called to the Bridgeport neighborhood in the 3200 block South Racine Avenue as members of the group suffered the ill effects of the drug about 10:10 p.m., police said.
Two men and two women in their 20s -- as well as a 17-year-old girl -- were taken by ambulance to area hospitals for observation, police said.
Police said they have not determined what drug, or drugs, they were under the influence of.
Charges are not expected to be filed against the five.
