Six Flags' Giant Inflatable Spider Found 'Deflated, Unresponsive' By Roller Coaster
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The 40-foot, 200-pound inflatable black spider that has been the symbol of Great America's Halloween celebrations for 21 years has "died."
"Tiny" the spider was found "deflated and unresponsive" at its home in Gurnee yesterday, according to Six Flags Great America.
The company statement says the giant black widow perished beside the American Eagle roller coaster.
The last time Tiny made big news was in 1994 when she was kidnapped.
She was later found in a garage three miles from the park.
