Simply Put, Sunday Is A Big Game For Bears
Last week's game against the Bills was a game that the Bears needed to win to help silence some critics. This Sunday, when the Bears play the Vikings, a win would go a long way it turning some of those critics into supporters.
"It's a big game for the Bears, they need to take care of business." Dan Pompei said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "They have not always beaten the teams they're supposed to beat, and this is a team they're supposed to beat."

Beating the Vikings this week would set them up nicely for the rest of the season. Because the Vikings have enough talent to catch fire at any point in the season.
"They're playing at home and its a division rival and the Vikings are a dangerous team," Pompei said. "They're a team that probably is going to play better in the second half. They might get Sidney Rice back this week, who of course was one of their most valuable players one year ago. And they're probably feeling a little sense of desperation right now."
Getting a win over the Vikings would go along way towards setting the Bears up to win the division, already having wins over the Packers and Lions.
