SI Cover: 'We Were Penn State'
(WSCR) Shortly after the NCAA's press conference where the sanctions against Penn State were levied, Sports Illustrated released the artwork for the cover of its new magazine.
"We Were Penn State" is a play on the school's rally cry of "We Are Penn State."
The penalties include a $60 million fine, a ban on post-game appearances for four years and a reduction in the number of scholarships.
