Shurna To Return To Northwestern After Flirting With NBA Draft
EVANSTON, Ill. (CBS) John Shurna, Northwestern's leading scorer, will return to the school after briefly testing the waters of the NBA Draft.
Shurna had earlier declared for the draft without hiring an agent, giving him the option of going back to the Wildcats.
The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 16.6 points, 2.6 assists and 5.9 rebounds per games last season, despite being slowed by an ankle injury.
Shurna and the Wildcats compiled their second straight 20-victory season and won two games in the NIT.
