Shots Fired At Aldermanic Candidate's Office
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A frightening act of vandalism shattered an aldermanic candidate's campaign office in the final days before the Tuesday election.
No one was injured Thursday night when two bullets were fired into the office of 45th Ward aldermanic candidate Marina Faz-Huppert, in the 5300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue. But campaign staffers were inside working late at the time.
Faz-Huppert is one of several candidates running to replace the retiring Ald. Patrick Levar. She works as legislative and political director for the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union.
As of Friday morning, there were no suspects in the case.
