Sheriff's Police Car Vandalized, Reward Offered
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A crime-watchdog group is offering a reward to catch the person or people who vandalized a police car in the southwest suburbs.

Jerry Elsner, the director of the Illinois State Crime Commission, says a Cook County Sheriff's police officer was away from his Orland Hills home more than a week ago collecting toys for underprivileged children.
That's when someone painted graffiti on his squad car, which was parked outside the house.
The vandal spray-painted "Miss Piggy"--among other things-on the car.
Elsner said, ""We're going after 'em. The Illinois State Crime Commission is not going to allow anybody ... try to intimidate a police officer."
The Illinois State Crime Commission is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible.
The Cook County Sheriff's office says the officer was able to clean the paint off the squad.
