Sharp, Keith Candidates For NHL '13 Video Game Cover

For the first time ever, the fine folks at EA Sports are letting fans pick the next cover athlete for their annual NHL video game. Blackhawks Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews were on the cover in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
The Hawks nominees for 2013 are defenseman Duncan Keith and forward Patrick Sharp. Other noteworthy candidates are Detroit's Pavel Datsyuk, New Jersey's Ilya Kovalchuk, and Philly's Claude Giroux. Vancouver's Alex Burrows is also a cover candidate, but no one wants that...although the image of him biting or groin kicking on the cover could be entertaining. Hmm.
