Sharp Could Return To The Ice Next Week
By Adam Hoge --
Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville said Thursday that injured forward Patrick Sharp is "progressing well" and "we could see him on the ice next week."
Sharp went out March 20 with a knee injury, but the Blackhawks have been optimistic all along that he would return before the end of the regular season. Sharp will be reassessed Sunday and could be cleared to return to the ice next week. Whether that means practice or game action remains to be seen.
Quenneville also said Dave Bolland is making "slow progress" with his concussion. Bolland has been out since taking a blow to the head from Tampa Bay defenseman Pavel Kubina.
