Sharp Could Return By Next Red Wings Game
The Chicago Blackhawks have been without forward Patrick Sharp since he suffered a lower body injury during the March 20 game against the Phoenix Coyotes.
They've have gone 2-2-0 since Sharp has been out, but they'll have to figure out a way to win a few more games while their second-leading scorer is on the mend.
"Right now they're kind of targeting, I think, that Detroit game on the eighth, that Friday game in Detroit," Chris Kuc, of the Chicago Tribune, said on the Mully and Hanley Show. "That would be the best case scenario. He won't be back before then. Once he's healthy enough to get back on the ice he still needs two or three practices to get back into game shape and get back into a rhythm."

The Blackhawks have a three-point lead over the Dallas Stars for the final playoff position, but with tough games agaisnt Tampa Bay, Montreal and Detroit (two games) left on the schedule, they need to keep winning.
"This is something where they can't be 'OK, we'll just hang on until Sharp gets back,'" Kuc said. "Because it's going to come down to the final two games, so I wouldn't expect to see him on the ice anytime before that."
