Seven Hurt In Far South Side Crash
CHICAGO (STMW) - Seven people were injured early Sunday when a stolen car collided with a sport utility vehicle on the Far South Side, according to the fire department.
The three-vehicle crash happened at 12:53 a.m. near South Asland Avenue and West 119th Street, said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro, citing preliminary information.
The fire department said a stolen car crashed into an SUV, but police could not immediately confirm that information.
Seven people were injured in the crash and transported to area hospitals. One person was in critical condition and another was in fair condition, according to the fire department. The others were described as being in good condition.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
