Search Widens For Missing Northwest Suburban Mother
ROUND LAKE PARK, Ill. (WBBM) -- Police are running down some new leads and expanding the search for missing mother from Round Lake Park.
Typically, missing people can be tracked if they have cell phones and use debit or credit cards.
Melissa Best, according to police, didn't have any of those.

Her information has been fed into a national missing-persons database, and police are just as perplexed about the case as they were at the outset.
The 34-year-old mother of two teenagers, according to police and family, wouldn't just disappear on her own for a week. She's a stay-at-home mom that police characterize as a "homebody, and this just doesn't fit.
Police says they do not suspect her husband, Clint, had anything to do with her disappearance.
She was last seen driving a green 1993 Pontiac Transport minivan with gray trim. The license plate number is A 770-405.
