Seabrook Out Vs Canucks; Emery, Schneider In Net
(CBS) Brent Seabrook will not play when the Blackhawks host the Vancouver Canucks Tuesday night at the United Center.
The defenseman is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. In his absence, head coach Joel Quenneville said he likely won't split up the defensive pair of Johnny Oduya and Niklas Hjalmarsson. Nick Leddy could be bumped up to the top defensive line to play with Duncan Keith.
Meanwhile, goaltender Corey Crawford skated Tuesday morning, but will not play tonight either. Ray Emery will get his second consecutive start as Crawford nurses an upper-body injury.
For the Canucks, Corey Schneider is expected to start in net over Roberto Luongo.
