Schuster: White Sox Finally Beat The Twins

For the first time since last August the White Sox finally beat the Twins. Their 4-3 come from behind victory snapped a 9 game skid to Minnesota and they did it with 2 out hits.
Carlos Quentin's single in the 8th inning broke a 3 all tie and then Alexi Ramirez's single in the 9th scored A.J. Pierzynski with the game winner. Pierzynski said there was no doubt he was going to try and score from 2nd, "Yea, you have to send me in that situation. If the guy makes a great throw so be it but luckily (Ben) Revere threw a 2 hopper to the plate and it allowed me to get in there."
Pierzynski knew beating Minnesota was a must after tasting defeat so many times, "Every time you lose we would hear about it and read about it and then it starts to fester and I think it got to the point where we were trying too hard."
But now it's something they wont have to worry about anymore.
They will have to worry about calling up another catcher as Ramon castro suffered a broken hand when a pitch got away from him and hit right on the knuckle. Castro was in a cast after the game and will be out indefinitely with Tyler Flowers likely to be called in time for Sunday's game.
